A few interesting picks, Evan Neal going first to the Jaguars secures them a franchise tackle for the future. The Panthers take a chance on Liberty QB Malik Willis to be their quarterback of the future as they are currently starting Sam Darnold and company. The patriots make an investment in Jameson Williamson at the 21st pick to be their wide receiver of the future, pairing him back up with his former QB Mac Jones. Jameson will not play in the starting half of his rookie season due to a torn ACL he sustained in the National Championship. At pick 29 the chiefs will address WR by taking Skyy Moore, filling the void left by Tyreek Hill. The Lions take a chance on Matt Corral at pick 32 to be their new starting QB. Further down, the 49ers take Christian Watson at pick 61, pairing him back up with his college QB Trey Lance. Patriots address linebacker by taking Brian Asamoah. They also select another receiver in the 3rd, John Metchie III. Despite rupturing his Achilles in his pro day, the Lions pair David Ojabo back up with his college teammate Aidan Hutchinson, at pick 66.

Hutchinson goes 1, I see this as a clear shot home run pick pairing Josh Allen with another edge guy. Jacksonville has been working on the offense through Free Agency, and then working a bit on the defense is not that much out of the question using the 1st overall pick. The Lions have an interesting choice at the 2nd Overall pick, work more on the offensive line after picking Penei Sewell with the 7th overall pick last year, or work on the defense after cutting veteran edge Trey Flowers. Their offense through last year was able to keep them in games when their defense was able to get stops. With the veteran loss on that side of the ball, and with the Lions still having Taylor Decker lock down the other tackle spot, they pick up Thibodeaux with the 2nd. With the third, the Texans will pick to address their offensive line. To me, Evan Neal from Alabama is a home run of a pick especially after cutting Marcus Cannon to clear up space. After Beefing up their defense all free agency with the addition of Kahlil Mack and JC Jackson, the chargers continue their aggressiveness on the defensive end and get an Interior D-Lineman to help clog up the run lanes that doomed them all of last season. Devonte Wyatt is the perfect pick to round out that star-studded Defense. To many fans, The Patriots did not have a WR1 last year. That changes this year with the addition of Jameson Williams of Alabama. Williams tore his ACL during the national championship game, with that injury hurting his draft stock. If Williams is able to fall out of the top 10, and even the top 20, pairing him up with his former collegiate quarterback Mac Jones hopefully creates the same type of connection Joe Burrow had with Ja’Marr Chase last year.
