Student Question: How do I recover from my physics test?
Abby’s Answer: Recovering from a test is the easy part! If you’re happy with your grade, you can reward yourself with some downtime to do something you enjoy, such as eating a large quantity of Oreos. If not, make sure you understand what went wrong. Did you get nervous and make avoidable mistakes? Did you study using only one type of practice question? Did you study at all? Then, once you’re confident that you can prepare better next time, you can cheer yourself up with a large quantity of Oreos. Apparently the official serving size is three cookies? Yeah, nice try.
Q: How long should I wait to commit to a college? Should I wait for all my letters? I am super stressed out!
A: Stressed out? About deciding between colleges you’ve already been accepted to? Don’t be. Princeton, Penn, and Yale may be breaking down your door, but there really aren’t any downsides to waiting for that Harvard letter, right? Also, once you’re committed, you’ll have fewer chances to negotiate for financial aid, so it’s better to keep your options open.
Q: How do I recover from a Physics C test?
A: Didn’t I already answer this one?
Q: I’m cooked for physics
A: This… isn’t a question.
Q: How do I survive AP Physics C?
A: I’m concerned. Is this a cry for help? Unfortunately, I can’t be of much assistance. If I took Physics C, I wouldn’t have the leftover mental energy to form a sentence, let alone enlighten my peers with words of wisdom, and then where would we be?
