Early September marked the return of the annual Sharon, MA carnival run by Fiesta Shows. Typically held in spring, this is easily one of the most popular local events of the year, so here’s a recap of what the 2025 carnival was like!
The carnival ran from Thursday, September 4th to Sunday, September 7th. It was held at Deborah Sampson Park on East Foxboro St in Sharon. Unfortunately, due to stormy weather, the carnival was closed on Sunday. But for those who had all day free earlier in the weekend and wanted to get as many thrills and fun as possible, passes for unlimited rides were available to purchase.
Rides: Some of the fan favorite thrill rides that came back include, but were not limited to: Top Gun, the Fireball, Zero Gravity, and Freak Out – now known by the name Warrior. Whether you’re into flipping upside down, or flying through the air, there was something for everyone!
Food: No carnival is complete without some greasy treats – and this one was no exception. There were of course the classics; hot dogs, burgers, and fries. And for the more daring, there were carnival treats almost guaranteed to give you a stomach ache before a ride — cotton candy, fried dough, and ice cream.
Who came out? The carnival was packed this year, with parents and kids enjoying relaxing rides and games, and teens finally able to unwind with their friends. The carnival can be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with friends during the busy back to school season.
Despite a rainy end to the weekend, the carnival was a success as usual! We cannot wait to see it come back next year.
