Juniors enrolled in Honors English proudly showcase their “body biography” project, a complex metaphoric and visual representation of a main character in a literary text.

Students use color, symbols, quotes, and design to represent a character’s identity and journey over the course of a novel. In addition, students write a literary analysis that serves as an explanation of the choices they made in the creation of their visual “body.” These projects are not only visually beautiful; they also illustrate sophisticated analytical interpretation as well as keen awareness of each author’s overall themes and intentions.

The students pictured on this page are in Ms. Lori Novick-Carson’s classes.
